Diane was awakened from sleep to answer a phone call, leaped out of bed, and while kneeling on a phone bench, fainted and fell backward, hitting her head on a brass-covered table leg. She found herself in darkness with no defined space, watching herself standing there. A wonderful feeling of calmness came over her as she watched herself walk away very fast with purpose into the dark that she could see in perfectly. She knew exactly where to go. As she watched herself walk away, she asked pertinent questions that were answered, though she doesn't know how. She then heard her own voice say "Come back, Diane, it's not your time" and watched herself turn around and return. She came to sobbing with her mother and sister yelling her name. They told her she had fallen, hit her head so hard she wasn't breathing, and they were slapping her face in panic. She felt wonderful in that place and was reluctant to return, but forgot all the answers to her questions upon waking. She is no longer afraid of death.
