Following a horseback riding accident with head injury, Cindy was in intensive care with a concussion and suspected blood clot. She saw her fiancé beside her bed, then doctors/nurses in a flurry of activity. She found herself floating above the bed, then in the corner, before leaving in panic. In darkness, she encountered a Presence that comforted her with indescribable peace. She recognized this Presence as closer to her than any earthly relationship, with a deep history, though not her deceased grandfather or any human.
