Dan was crushed by a 2.5-3 ton cement wall at a construction site. His hard hat prevented worse head injury. Pinned under the wall unable to breathe, his life flashed before him as he prayed to God. Darkness gave way to a pinpoint of light that grew into a brilliant wall of light. He entered a magnificent hall with walls emanating pure bright light where no shadow or sad thought could exist. The hall was filled with hundreds or thousands of people in white gowns, all young adults, gathered in groups with great anticipation. He recognized a woman looking like his mother at 19 (later identified as his grandmother). She insisted he must return because his body was running out of oxygen and people were counting on him. She explained he could come back if he was good to others. After agreeing to help, he took his first breath after 8-10 minutes under the wall. A friend said he was completely blue, not breathing, when his body went into convulsions, coughed up blood, and started breathing - he had resuscitated himself. He spent three months hospitalized, 1.5 months in drug-induced coma, and had additional NDEs including one to a dark terrible place, confirming his belief in different destinations for good and bad people.
