Cara was being violently attacked, strangled and smothered with her attacker sitting on top of her, pinning her arms and hitting her head against the ground. As she struggled for life, she suddenly found herself in complete darkness - fully conscious but no longer in her body. She felt only surprise, thinking "Oh, this is how I die," with no fear or bad feelings. Upon consciously letting go of the struggle for life, she was immediately with the Light, completely outside physical reality and time-space. She was enveloped in the Light and felt unconditional love, peace, and joy beyond earthly experience. She became one with the Light, feeling whole and home, where no evil, pain, suffering or struggle exists. She sensed many beings present, all one with each other and the Light in perfect Holy Communion, though she didn't see them as individual people. She felt such awe that she gave no thought to earthly life or loved ones. As suddenly as she arrived, she returned to find her attacker had released his grip. Her first sensation was overwhelming PAIN, then opening her eyes to continued brutality. The experience left her forever changed - she no longer fears death itself, only its potential pain, knowing the perfection that awaits. However, returning to this broken world felt like carrying a heavy boulder after experiencing weightlessness.
