Vickie was in a car accident where her face smashed into the dashboard, the windscreen came in on her, her seat broke from the floor, and her head hit the roof. She also had a deep leg injury. After being dragged from the car by her boyfriend and neighbors, she passed out on the ground. During her unconscious state, she briefly looked down on herself, then experienced profound peace and calm with no pain or fear. She found herself in a beautiful, vast place with stunning blue landscapes including trees, lakes, and waterfalls. She felt the presence of loving people around her who knew her name and reassured her everything would be alright. One presence she believed might be her grandfather who died before she was born. Upon returning to consciousness, she felt huge sadness and longed to go back. The experience eliminated her fear of death and gave her belief in meeting loved ones again.
