Eight-year-old Vincent was holding his grandfather's hand to cross the road when he saw his brother with a chocolate egg. Excited, he escaped his grandfather's grip and ran across the street, getting hit by a car. He found himself about 10 meters above the street lighting wire (approximately 25-30 meters total height above ground). Initially confused but feeling good with no pain, he looked around and saw his mother about 70 meters away holding what appeared to be a baby at the pavement edge.
Feeling a sudden urge, he descended toward the scene and found himself in his mother's arms as she cried. He discovered he had been hit and shoved to the road's side. In the ambulance, he excitedly repeated that he had "flown" and had seen his mother on the ground with him, reassuring her that his leg pain wasn't severe. Only years later did he understand this couldn't be explained by the accident impact - that he had been suspended 20-30 meters high seeing his mother and himself on the ground.
