At age five, Rick was in a car when his father slammed on the brakes. He hit his head on the gear shifter and found himself floating about thirty feet above the car. He could see his mother shaking him to wake up and had a large bruise on his forehead for days. Initially thought it was a dream until learning about astral projection. Years later, from age 15-19, he learned to induce out-of-body experiences through lucid dreaming practice. He would wake up vibrating extensively with loud rumbling noise, then float across the room with awareness in all directions. He could feel wind when moving. Eventually prayed for the experiences to stop and they ceased.
