Trisha developed HELLP Syndrome while seven months pregnant with her third child, experiencing massive organ failure and brain swelling between February and April 1997. During her NDE, she came through a white light and encountered her grandfather who had died in WWII when her father was only three years old. She immediately recognized him by his hands, which looked like her father's hands. He was young, tall, and wearing a brown military uniform.
