Joseph U was wrestling with a friend in his living room when he was knocked unconscious after his friend fell on him. He immediately found himself floating above near the ceiling, looking down at his unconscious body surrounded by friends. He could clearly hear their worried discussions about his unconscious state, the TV commercials, and see his friends who were in the hallway playing with a ball.
He watched as his friends tried to revive him by slapping his face, with one going to get water to splash on him. The experience felt like half an hour though it lasted only about two minutes. During the experience, he felt complete peace, no pain, and understood that his body was like a car his consciousness drives. As soon as he saw them about to splash water, he felt pulled back into his body and awoke confused. Upon awakening, he questioned his friends about what they had said and done, and to everyone's surprise, his observations were accurate. The friends in the hallway confirmed they had been throwing a ball back and forth exactly as he had seen. Since this experience, he has had strong convictions about life after death, frequent déjà vu, precognitive dreams, increased spirituality, and a complete transformation from an argumentative, fighting personality to someone much happier and at peace. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The clear out-of-body experience with verified observations supports biblical teaching about the soul's existence independent of the body.
