Jolene was born with Tricuspid Atresia, a rare heart disease, and was expected to be stillborn but survived. At age four, she underwent life-threatening open-heart surgery. After the surgery, she woke briefly in what seemed like an incubator with a plastic dome, feeling wires in her chest and crying uncontrollably without knowing why - a Kundalini-like experience where she had no control over her emotional response.
Later, in the hospital room, she began floating toward the ceiling and saw a glowing light that started small but grew bigger and brighter. The pure white, warm light surrounded her with indescribable happiness and comfort. She knew with certainty that she was dead. After what seemed like hours, she was spoken to from within her heart by her inner conscience, asking if she was ready to come home (death). After contemplating deeply, she answered no, wanting to live. She then received intuitions about her future: her relationship with her mother would change, she would find true love and have two children despite difficulties, and eventually find peace and happiness. When asked again if she was sure, she chose to return. On the journey back, she could hear doctors and nurses talking frantically as machines went crazy, and she saw her cold body below with medical staff trying to revive her. All her intuitions about the future have come true. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The experience powerfully demonstrates consciousness during clinical death, divine light and presence, communication from a higher power (possibly God speaking to the heart), being given a choice about life/death, receiving prophetic knowledge that proved accurate, and the transformative spiritual impact. Unbiblical elements: The concept of choosing whether to die or return suggests human autonomy over death rather than complete divine sovereignty. The internal conscience speaking could be interpreted as self rather than God, though biblical precedent exists for God speaking to the heart.
