Eight-year-old Jennifer suffered a severe head injury resulting in a week-long coma with complete amnesia of her life before age eight. During the coma, she experienced observing herself in the hospital bed from outside her body, feeling dreamlike awe at seeing herself. A Being of Light took her hand, emanating calm and peace while communicating telepathically that everything would be all right. The being had no facial features but emitted soothing light, feeling both maternal in its calming protection and masculine in its strength. After seeing a distant small light, she was instantly transported to an undefined area filled with light, accompanied by her Being of Light and four other Beings scattered nearby. Upon seeing visions of her mother and infant sister in her mind, she chose to return. She awoke screaming at the sight of the green hospital tiles. The beings were described as glowing like jellyfish in the sea, and she was told the book was the Book of Life.
