Jodi was t-boned at 60 mph in a car accident, suffering severe injuries including lacerated spleen and liver, multiple fractures, and head injury. Five days later in the trauma unit, after being moved to a chair, she developed difficulty breathing and severe chest pain, leading to internal bleeding and cardiac arrest. She remembers a nurse saying "Don't let me die!" and him responding "You're not going to die today!" before being wheeled to surgery. She then experienced an intensely bright white light with a blue hue that surrounded her completely without hurting her eyes, bringing incredible peace and freedom.
