Robert C experienced clinical death when hit by a train on September 11, 1965. The train struck his car at 45 mph, dragging it 510 feet. He flew through a blue tunnel of light and reached an edge where he could see all souls that ever were or would be. Given the choice to stay or return, he came back, hovering above the accident scene where he observed rescue efforts. He saw himself covered with a sheet (presumed dead), pulled it off shocking everyone, then directed his own rescue by telling them to use logging truck chains. He had no pulse or breathing when checked and was gone for several minutes. He experienced two additional NDEs during VA hospital surgeries in 1994-1995, returning to the same spiritual realm.
