At age 14, Catherine attempted suicide and fell into a coma. She experienced entering a wide tunnel with a strange whirlpool that made earthly reality disappear. She saw extraordinary light at the tunnel's end composed of ultra-bright, hyper-mobile dots of pure energy containing the full color spectrum. At the tunnel's end, still in darkness but unable to proceed, God's voice spoke to her with acting energy power. Without introducing Himself (she simply knew it was God), He communicated through both voice and telepathy, expressing dissatisfaction and firm but loving authority. He told her it was too early to enter the light and she must return because she "had something to do on Earth," though He didn't specify what. She experienced hyper-consciousness, understanding everything as TRUTH. Despite wanting to join the light, she was sent back at high speed. The experience gave her unshakeable faith and psychic abilities including seeing past/future and sensing spiritual beings. She later had a second NDE at age 22.
