Eleven-year-old Becca was pitching in a national softball tournament when a line drive hit her directly in the eye, breaking her eye socket. Time slowed down and became silent as the ball approached. Upon impact, she saw bright light then darkness, and her entire life flashed before her eyes. She felt herself above her body looking down at the chaos below.
