Barbara suffered a cerebral aneurysm rupture and was given only a 10% chance of survival. While in intensive care during surgery to relieve brain pressure, she entered a coma. During her NDE, she was accompanied by a comforting presence that led her through a beautiful field with colorful flowers, trees, and a creek. The presence communicated telepathically, assuring her she would have no more worries or troubles. They reached a white bridge over the creek where the presence said she could cross but reminded her of her three small children. Barbara chose not to cross to stay with her children.
