A young girl was struck by a car while crossing the street to retrieve her sandal. The impact was severe, causing critical injuries that left her brain "practically hanging out" of her skull according to her description. She rolled into a ditch and immediately recognized she was dying. She was catapulted into an out-of-body experience inside an ambulance that was attempting to save her, though she was actually transported by private car.
During her extensive NDE, she traveled through a semi-transparent tunnel at tremendous speed toward "home," seeing points of light like distant stars. She encountered a dignified young boy beneath a massive oak tree who offered her bread and wine at a wooden table. Despite her desperate desire to stay, he showed her that her life journey was incomplete, revealing it as a path from A to B with marble statues representing fixed events and clay ones representing malleable choices. When she refused to return, she was taken to "the Father" who tricked her into agreeing to return by making her admit she loved humanity. She begged the youth to intervene if she failed in her life mission, and he promised to be with her daily. Her most striking veridical observation was seeing and later accurately reporting where a nurse in the ambulance had lost her mother's ring, despite never actually being in that ambulance (she was transported by car).
