Margaret was working as a seamstress when she experienced a grand mal seizure at work. Her heart stopped during the seizure and CPR was administered for approximately five minutes before her heart was restarted. During the cardiac arrest, she observed the scene from the corner of the room, watching people worry about her and the paramedics arrive. She then experienced being pulled backwards into bright light where she met her deceased grandmother in a meadow-like setting. Multiple deceased relatives were present near a creek with a large flat boulder. They engaged in conversation about her life and indicated she wasn't doing something she needed to do. Despite feeling happy peace and wanting to stay, her relatives, particularly her grandfather, insisted she must cross back over the creek to finish her work. She described being told she was a healer meant to be in counseling. Upon returning, she had difficulty finding words but recognized her supervisor. The experience left her without fear of death and with psychic abilities including knowing things about people without being told.
