Lorena attempted suicide through medication overdose and was brought to the emergency room with very high blood pressure. She died twice - once in the emergency room and again in the cardiologist's room where she was dead for hours and placed in the morgue. During her experience, she saw her life like a movie from the moment she got married, understanding why she had lived each moment. She saw a future vision of herself and her husband happy in a green prairie with a nice house and more children, realizing her mistakes. She prayed not to die, floating in darkness until she felt something approaching. She saw herself as very small, dressed in white, when a huge white bird passed over her head. She briefly saw the face of Jesus Christ, then three colors (red, yellow, blue) emerged from the bird. She felt a strong power and saw a huge hand that pulled her - God's hand. Upon returning, her body was shining and she was filled with incredible happiness, repeatedly saying "God exists." Medical staff sent her to a psychiatrist thinking she had hallucinations.
