Jeff had anaphylactic shock from fire ant bites. Using relaxation training to slow heart rate, he "let go" and everything went black. He felt warm, comfortable, floating in darkness with complete awareness of identity. He felt dead but peaceful with no needs or hunger. He didn't want to return but woke to nurse checking pupils who said "we lost you for a little bit." Experience led him on spiritual quest through meditation and quantum physics rather than religion.
