James G experienced clinical death in December 1998 while in a coma with gangrene in his right leg, heart failure, and pulmonary edema. During his NDE, he felt separated from his body with no pain, experiencing total peace and a glowing sensation around his form. He passed through what he described as a valley or tunnel filled with darkness before encountering light. The light emanated total love, peace, and immense power that he described as exceeding millions of atomic explosions.
At the entrance to what he called "the Kingdom," James met a deceased woman named Kathy who had been a customer on his paper route when he was a teenager. She had died years before his experience. Kathy told him to wait because "HE" was coming to meet him and that he would be back one day. James experienced a complete life review, watching his entire life from birth to being taken to Emory Hospital unfold like a stage play that he could observe but not control. This review made him deeply appreciate life as a precious and beautiful gift. James was told his time had not yet come, which made him sad to leave the beautiful Kingdom. He was cast back through darkness into earthly light and slammed back into his body. The experience transformed his perspective on life and death. He now appreciates life even more deeply while maintaining strong belief in God, Jesus, and everlasting life.
