In February 1997, Hera had respiratory and cardiac arrest on the operating table, with V-Tach shown on the monitor. She was sucked out of her body like a vacuum and saw the anesthesiologist calling her doctor in the parking garage. After leaving the hospital, she traveled through space to a cloudy place where deceased ICU patients she had cared for gathered around her. Her father (died 6 months prior) led her to a tunnel where she was engulfed in beautiful light feeling unconditional love. She had a complete life review seeing every thought, word, deed, action and inaction. Her father led her into a rotating tunnel with a beautiful garden at the end. A figure with his back to her (whom she thought was Jesus) was present. She fell to her knees feeling like she was in the holy of holies. Three voices said "You can stay or you can leave." When told "Oh, but you are" after saying she wasn't good enough, she was deeply humbled. Prayers from her mother and children pulled her back. She told the doctor she had been in heaven and wouldn't die. She survived five surgeries that year.
