Gulden suffered a brain hemorrhage on June 6, 2000, with surgery on June 20. She had nine times more veins/arteries than normal in her brain. After surgery, while unconscious, she rose above her bed toward a bright white light. Her deceased uncle passed by saying "Not yet." A lady guide took her to several beautiful places - mountains, seashore with a village - claiming each was her life's place, but Gulden didn't recognize them. The guide said she wasn't ready to stay. When asked what she remembered of life, she thought of her mother and fell rapidly back into her body. She woke asking her mother for confirmation of identity. The experience brought lasting peace, understanding that death isn't frightening, and enhanced abilities including premonition and energy sensitivity. She cannot wear watches long-term as they stop working.
