Eight-year-old Granit picked up an illegal firecracker after New Year's Day in Breda. When he lit it, it exploded immediately. He suddenly found himself in a rotating tunnel like a cloud with billions of small lights inside. He heard beautiful classical-like music and felt peaceful, quiet, and without worries. At the tunnel's end was a large light resembling the sun but one he could look into directly. He telepathically said "Wow it is beautiful here. Where am I?" before returning to his body with lightning speed. Miraculously, his hand was protected with only minor bleeding despite the explosion. He told his mother he had been with God, though she thought he imagined it. The experience gave him tranquility, peace, and understanding of God's true nature. He later abandoned organized religion to focus on life itself and direct relationship with God.
