Sixteen-year-old Debra was at her first concert (Styx) and date with Mike and friends. Having never drunk alcohol or used drugs before, she followed the group in drinking Southern Comfort and smoking marijuana to fit in. She became unable to breathe and while Mike walked her around the corridor, she grabbed him, yelled his name, saw his face, and collapsed on concrete.
Instantly, her spirit began climbing up the bleachers while looking at people's faces. She floated near the roof looking down at the concert, feeling super alert and communicating through consciousness. She sensed beings on her left and right sides who felt familiar but couldn't be seen. Beautiful colored orbs of indescribable color surrounded her with profound peace. The beings ran through her life at incredible speed showing good and bad moments. She was shown the devastating pain her death would cause her parents, particularly her mother's wailing cry. She looked for ways to exit the building through the attic fan or doors but knew she couldn't return if she left. The beings told her that her mother would need her later in life to show her the way, though it remained her choice. Upon choosing to stay, she was immediately shoved back into her body with a flash. She awoke to a female paramedic standing over her with a distraught expression. Her body felt incredibly heavy and she shivered for hours. Since the experience, she has heightened consciousness and intuitive abilities, often knowing things before they happen. The prediction about her mother needing her later proved true. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: Clear out-of-body experience with spirit separating from physical body, encountering unseen spiritual beings, life review showing good and bad deeds, receiving knowledge about future purpose, and conscious choice to return. The presence of guiding beings and life review align with biblical accounts. Unbiblical elements: The development of psychic predictive abilities after the NDE is problematic from a biblical perspective, as divination and fortune-telling are condemned in scripture. The colored orbs lack biblical precedent. The absence of any mention of God, Jesus, or judgment in eternal terms is notable.
