Christopher was being crushed at the bottom of a dog pile by his brothers, which he describes as being "jumped" rather than playing. After five attempts to free himself, he lost energy, his lungs hurt, and his breathing became short. He closed his eyes praying to get through it, then suddenly could breathe again. Opening his eyes, he saw the dog pile from above with his body twitching below. He found himself eye-level with the roof gutters, surprised and excited to be that high.
He saw his brothers get off with concerned looks - a first for them. After feeling a tug at his back, he entered a dark tunnel with bright light at the end. Initially fascinated, he became afraid and called out for help. The light became blinding, then he found himself in a meadow with rolling hills, beautiful flowers, and cottages in the distance. A beautiful song played with no visible source, and the air emanated deep, unwavering love. A man in his twenties with blond hair, blue eyes, and the whitest clothing (later understood as angels clothed in light) called him by name. The being, whom Christopher believes was his guardian angel Sit'l, told him he wasn't supposed to be there and would live to age 83. Despite fighting the pull back to Earth, Christopher agreed to return after the angel promised to always be there for him. He has since had two more NDEs at ages 12 and 18, with the angel visiting him in dreams. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: Guardian angel in brilliant white/light, heavenly meadow with supernatural beauty and music, emanating divine love, being told his time hasn't come, angel's ongoing presence and protection through dreams, and multiple divine interventions align perfectly with biblical accounts of angelic encounters and heaven. Unbiblical elements: None identified. The experience is thoroughly biblical.
