Cyndi underwent a second heart valve replacement surgery in six months. During this clinical death, she experienced floating above herself, drifting upwards while observing the surgical team working on her body below. She saw multiple people in long white robes with pointed hoods standing behind the operating crew, surrounding the table. The figure spoke to her but not in her father's voice, and she remembers every word spoken. She felt calm, wanted to continue toward a beautiful space, but was sent back. Upon awakening in recovery, she experienced small fairy-like beings fluttering around her, going under blankets and all around. These beings have remained with her to this day, which she accepts as protective presences.
