Carolyn was found very sick by her daughter and rushed to the hospital where she spent seven days in the intensive care unit. During her NDE, she looked into a huge kaleidoscope with soft blue, pink, and yellow colors spinning, followed by a big pop and then blackness. A bright soft light appeared in the distance with a figure that came closer, revealing itself as God. Standing before her were her deceased mother, father, and brother, all appearing decades younger. God told her she was not ready to come home. She awoke surrounded by her living family. This brief but profound experience reinforced her belief in a higher power and the continuation of consciousness after death.
