During childbirth under anesthesia, Carol experienced an NDE where she found herself in a white space with a presence that explained her spiritual doubts through telepathy and images. She understood that everything good and bad happens for a purpose, that God hopes the devil will understand His great love, and when this happens, the world system will end. She learned that God is everywhere, even in the smallest particle of matter. She understood how children's brains learn slowly and that death is harder on those left behind. She felt extreme love and peace like a child in a mother's lap. When she thought of her family, she began returning to consciousness, moving between the peaceful white space and the painful birthing room. She saw the Arabic word "Bismillah" (in the name of God) floating in space as her daughter was born.
