Kandy V experienced an NDE during surgery for a D&C procedure while under general anesthesia. She was pregnant and had developed a massive uterine infection due to a Dalkon Shield. After several days of high fever and delirium, she began to miscarry and was taken into surgery.

While under anesthesia, she simply sat up and got out of her sick body. She saw the operating table and medical staff around her physical body in her peripheral vision. A being with a non-physical material body appeared with arms opened to her, and she climbed into its lap, laughing and crying simultaneously. They communicated through thoughts. She told the being "I almost stopped believing in you," and it chuckled and replied "Well, here I am." The love from this being was overwhelming and permeated every fiber of her being - far exceeding any earthly experience of love.

When she asked if she could stay, the being said "No, not this time" and showed her threads of love connecting her to her two children. She understood she had to return for them. Returning to her body was difficult, like being squashed into a tuna can. She reconnected through her breath and aiming for a target-like intersection point.

--- Biblical Summary ---
Biblical elements: The out-of-body experience, encounter with a loving divine being, communication through thoughts, and being sent back for a purpose align with biblical accounts. The overwhelming experience of perfect love reflects biblical descriptions of divine love.

Unbiblical elements: None specifically identified. The experience appears compatible with traditional Christian near-death accounts.
