Three-year-old Angela drowned in a pool behind her house and was found floating face down by her mother. Her father resuscitated her after hearing a voice telling him to hold her upside down to expel the water. After hospital treatment and recovery, she recounted remarkable details to her father. She said two angels held her arms and took her up into the sky, where she saw people building a church out of gold bricks who waved at her. She insisted she wanted to go to "the church that was being built" that "wasn't finished yet." She then saw two thrones with two beings sitting in them whose faces were clouded. One told her "it wasn't my time yet" and that she had to go back to her mom and dad, despite her insistence on staying. She then saw herself (the little girl) before returning to her body. Angela retained all these vivid memories into adulthood. The experience included heightened senses, feelings of joy, happiness and belonging, and a sense of being in the company of perfect kindness. Since the experience, she has developed psychic abilities including precognitive dreams and knowledge about strangers.
