Andrew experienced an NDE during a severe car accident when his vehicle flipped. After the initial chaos of breaking glass and noise, everything went calm. He experienced himself leaving his body twice - first climbing out of the vehicle and up the hill where he tried unsuccessfully to flag down passing cars who could not see him. He returned to turn off the still-running car and saw his own body inside. The second time, he successfully got help from a passing motorist. The experience had a profound but troubling effect on his personality. Since the NDE, he has experienced increased anger, violence, and darkness that has cost him relationships and led to trouble with law enforcement. He describes feeling as though the experience brought out a dark side, even finding himself drawn to devil worship websites without understanding why. The visual aspects included seeing through a dark, cloudy tunnel that appeared evil rather than the typical white light. He continues to have minor precognitive abilities, getting feelings about things that then happen.
