On November 8, 2002, Janet S experienced chest pain and took a nitroglycerin tablet before lying down to rest. While thinking about having left work early, her heart suddenly began to shudder and then stopped. She realized everything had stopped - no sound, no movement. She found herself standing and looking down at her body on the bed, thinking "Oh, I'm dead" as if it were completely ordinary. Curious if the rain had stopped too, she went through the wall and observed that raindrops were suspended motionless in mid-air. She moved around examining different drops and found a particularly large one. As she was about to touch it, the raindrop began to fall and simultaneously she was back in her body with her heart beating again, feeling extremely happy and grinning from ear to ear. The experience left her with psychic flashes of future events and disturbed sleep. Her daughter was frightened by the incident.

--- Biblical Summary ---
Biblical elements: The out-of-body experience with consciousness surviving bodily death aligns with biblical teaching about the soul's immortality. The ability to pass through walls reflects the spiritual body's properties described in scripture. The overwhelming happiness upon return could reflect a glimpse of divine joy.

Unbiblical elements: The development of psychic abilities seeing future events contradicts biblical warnings against divination and fortune-telling. Such abilities are typically associated with occult practices rather than divine gifts. The disturbing visions following the experience raise concerns about the spiritual source of these manifestations.
