Steven was attacked and struck in the head with a golf club three times. He felt no fear or pain, just comfort from not breathing. He felt safe, protected, and euphoric. He was drawn into darkness then a bright light where his whole life flashed by in seconds. He heard an unfamiliar voice say calmly "You can either stay down and die or stand up and live." He was given a choice and chose to stand up and live. He felt someone pull his arm, regained mobility, and stood up. He developed psychic abilities afterward and gained understanding that there is something greater out there.
