Steve was T-boned by a school bus that ran a red light. Was conscious during accident (slow motion experience) and coherent enough to talk to OnStar. While paramedics used Jaws of Life to extract him, he suddenly found himself STANDING where a house should have been, seeing with BOTH eyes despite blood in one. Saw dark grey rolling clouds all around (360 degrees) and large rectangular screen showing himself being worked on in truck.
He thought "that guy's really messed up" then realized it was himself. Turned right and saw the Grim Reaper - dark robe, sickle, no face but deepest blackness that would swallow brightest light. Heard voice say "come with/to me." As he stared into blackness and started to go, scene faded, senses faded, pain faded. Thought of 14-year-old son and wife, told reaper "F**K YOU I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE!" Returned to body as paramedic said "stay with me." --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: Out-of-body experience, supernatural encounter, choice between life and death, love for family motivating return. Unbiblical elements: Grim Reaper figure (cultural death symbol not biblical), profane rejection of death figure. No mention of God, heaven, hell, or spiritual beings consistent with Scripture.
