Simon collapsed at a grocery store from a burst aorta in his heart. He experienced complete void and darkness initially. In the emergency room, he observed himself from a third-person perspective, seeing medical staff moving him from gurney to operating table and hearing them say "Don't leave us Simon." He could note specific details like wall colors and how they moved him onto the table.
He reported seeing "them" (medical staff) and being in the void. Later experienced mystical light, felt incredible peace and joy, unity with universe, and understanding of everything. Had a definite encounter with mystical being and saw religious spirits. Experienced scenes from past and future, came to a barrier he wasn't permitted to cross. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: Experience includes out-of-body observation, void/darkness, encounter with light, feelings of peace and unity, barrier/border, and return to body - consistent with biblical accounts of spiritual experiences and the afterlife. The void could represent separation before divine encounter. Unbiblical elements: No explicit mention of Jesus, God, heaven or hell. No judgment scene. The "understanding everything about universe" could be interpreted as gaining forbidden knowledge, though this is not clearly unbiblical.
