Sally S experienced clinical death during surgery in 1976 to remove a cyst from her lower spine when her blood pressure dropped out. She floated out of her body and watched the medical team working to revive her as if watching TV. Growing bored with observing, she felt a slight pulling sensation and began floating toward a soft mellow light in the distance. Along the way, she felt the presence of positive beings of light and beautiful music playing all around. She felt happy and wanted to reach the light.
A voice she heard or felt inside her head told her she must return to her body because it wasn't her time to pass over yet - there was something she still had to do on Earth. She was then sucked back into her body and awoke on the operating table to the astonishment of the doctors. Years later, during a social encounter with her doctor, he revealed she had actually died on the table. When she described what the doctors were doing and saying during resuscitation, he was completely freaked out, confirming her observations were exactly accurate despite being "dead" at the time.
