Pat experienced two NDEs. First at age 7: After developing anaphylactic shock from penicillin with temperature over 108°F, she was vaulted into the sky where she could freely move and perform aerial maneuvers among opalescent clouds of gold, yellow, rose, orange, and lime green. A being resembling traditional depictions of God confronted her, asking "WHAT are you doing HERE NOW!?" When she couldn't explain, he said she wasn't supposed to be there yet and sent her back. She awakened to see the family doctor pulling away with a shocked expression. Second in early 1980s: During an exercise that induced hypothermia with convulsions, she encountered infinity - a huge ball of light with countless red laser-like filaments connecting every atom in the universe. The vision was overwhelming, breaking her mind until it softened. She then experienced life force draining from her stomach and fought to pull it back, staying conscious for 10 hours to prevent death. Both experiences taught her about protected consciousness and divine purpose.
