Six-year-old Peter slid down a hillside and was severely cut by broken glass at his belt line, bleeding profusely for approximately 40 minutes before receiving treatment. While on the operating table, he experienced progressive elevation of consciousness - first seeing doctors' feet and knees, then faces, then tops of heads, then viewing from 20 feet above, then 50 feet. He traveled through fog into darkness with ground fog, gliding forward toward a white/blue starlight. To his left, he saw his deceased grandmother and thousands of translucent deceased relatives calling to him. He experienced perfect love and unity with God, gaining complete knowledge of past, present, and future. He went through a tunnel effect where light coalesced into a human form - himself at age 40. This being spoke in his adult voice, saying he was there early and asking what he wanted to do. Peter said he needed to go back because his death would kill his mother slowly. After confirmation, he instantly returned to his body.
