In 1991, Malinda K experienced a massive grand-mal seizure while doing dishes in her kitchen. She fell face-forward onto the floor into a plastic grocery bag, losing all awareness of who and where she was. Her breathing and heart stopped for 10 minutes before her police officer husband found her and performed CPR, successfully reviving her.
