K.C. had a severe motorcycle accident crushing his chest and abdomen on February 18, 2006. After seven days in ICU, his spleen burst causing internal hemorrhaging. His eyes rolled back and he lost consciousness, finding himself in a large basement-like area with stone archways. A intense-looking man with long hair and chiseled features approached and wrestled with him for an extended period. K.C. felt he was wrestling for his life - if he lost, he would die. After breaking free, the man returned to his archway. K.C. then noticed one archway glowing with incredible white misty light. Walking through it, he entered a room like an elevator shaft filled with brilliant nurturing light. He experienced all-knowing intelligence, limitless joy, and answers to everything while floating upward. He suddenly shifted back through his eyeballs to see his brother Kip inches from his face asking "Where'd you go? Where have you been?" The experience was so vivid that this world now seems like the dream world. He has returned to that realm twice in dreams since. His life changed completely - he gained peace, perspective, kindness, love, and compassion, considering the accident the best thing to ever happen to him.
