Kasandra L underwent thyroid surgery on September 11, 2001, during the 9/11 attacks. Post-surgery, she experienced severe internal bleeding with blood gushing from her nose, eyes, and mouth. A nurse screamed she would be dead in ten minutes. She consciously prepared for death by forgiving everyone she could think of. Unable to reach her via ambulance due to construction, firefighters carried her on a bedsheet to the hospital OR. She watched her spirit lift from her body and floated into a tunnel where she performed gymnastics weightlessly. A whooshing sound accompanied clouds floating from the tunnel end where tremendous white light appeared. Stepping into the light felt like being enveloped in white fog. She received great knowledge that it wasn't the right time and felt frustrated with God's silence, even cursing God before being slammed back into her body. She awoke tied down with tubes, chewed through her throat tube, and became hysterical. While sedated in ICU for three days, she had visions of 9/11 victims burning, a coming Middle East war with blazing oil fields, and a major flood. She was told to move to a cooler climate. She reported feeling that information was communicated but couldn't specify what exactly.
