Phoenix symbolism and transformation into "Old Hawk" indicate occult/pagan spiritual identity contrary to biblical teaching.
James B was rear-ended at 65 mph while stopped on May 26, 1991. A nurse found no pulse or respiration and moved on. After 4.5 minutes clinically dead, he crawled through the passenger window. During his death, he was drawn toward a warm, lighted place where thoughts and ideas were imparted telepathically without faces. He felt safe progressing toward the light before being yanked backward like on a bungee cord into total darkness - scared, naked, and cold. He ran off a cliff and fell, developing panoramic raptor-like vision as it became lighter. He took flight and saw below a Native American woman lying face-down. When he rolled her over, a great white bird rose from her body and flew away, and he turned to ashes like a Phoenix. This experience replayed nightly as dreams for years. Later, a college professor recognized him, took him to the hallway, and recounted his NDE in detail. She was Mohawk, known as Snowy Owl Woman (the white bird). She became his shaman teacher and mentor. He mixed blood with her, joined the clan as "Old Hawk," and now follows ancient ways, walking the Medicine Circle and journeying to the Shadow World to help others understand death's sacred path.
