Daniel experienced cardiac arrest while lying in bed after consuming excessive coffee. Listening to his heartbeat, it suddenly stopped completely. He immediately became detached from his body, hovering within and around it, able to see his bedroom and body with closed eyes. His thinking accelerated hundreds or thousands of times faster than normal. In earth time, only ten seconds passed before his heart restarted, but he experienced "zero time" outside of time itself. His entire life replayed panoramically in a quarter second of earth time. He then experienced infinite peace, bliss, and unimaginable love while accessing knowledge of "everything that ever was, is, and will be." The nature of the universe became clear, and he was about to join with God - described as vast beyond biblical description. He returned to his body, panicked, pounded his chest to restart his heart, and drove himself to the hospital. His IQ increased from average to 148 after the experience.
