Bob fell approximately 30 feet from a church roof while doing repairs. Upon impact, he experienced an immediate out-of-body experience where he perceived himself standing up and walking around, seeing everything tinted green - the church, Mississippi River, all in various shades of green. He thought he had broken his head and laid back down. As he did, his entire life flashed before him like a freight train of knowledge at light speed, showing both good and bad experiences from entering his mother's womb to the present. He felt intense regret about hitting a frog as a child. The final frame showed his wife with their two young children.
After the life review, he heard his grandmother praying over him and prayed to Jesus to let him raise his children, promising to work for God the rest of his life. He returned to his body with chest trauma from his chin hitting it. A week later, x-rays revealed extensive damage. Remarkably, loose plywood supported by lumber and rocks had cushioned his fall enough to save his life. The experience profoundly changed Bob, giving him psychic and healing abilities. He later opened Cody's Castle, a Dungeons & Dragons den for children, fulfilling what he understood as his mission.
