This experience contains extremely problematic elements that fundamentally contradict biblical teaching. The most egregious statement is that "murder, rape and cannibalism, they are all okay" - described as merely experiences for growth. This directly opposes God's moral law and the biblical understanding of sin and evil. The Ten Commandments explicitly prohibit murder, and Scripture consistently condemns sexual violence and all forms of evil. To declare these acts "okay" contradicts the very nature of God as holy and just.
The experiencer's claim "I am God. And so is everyone and everything else" represents the ultimate blasphemy and echoes Satan's original deception in Eden: "you will be like God" (Genesis 3:5). This pantheistic worldview eliminates the Creator-creature distinction fundamental to biblical faith. Robyn experienced a profound near-death experience during a medical procedure when given an overdose of anesthesia. During the procedure, while still under anesthesia, Robyn felt the surgeon apply pressure and made a conscious decision to respond with a bodily twinge to indicate awareness. The medical team interpreted this as pain and increased the anesthesia dose, which led to the NDE.
Upon receiving the increased anesthesia, everything went dark and weightless, described as an infinite bluish-purple space filled with amazing sparkling particles that connected everything. Robyn experienced leaving the body and zooming to the ceiling, becoming aware in all directions simultaneously. There was complete detachment from the physical body below, with no remorse, attachment, fear, or sadness about leaving. Robyn became one with all existence - the doctor, nurses, mother in the hallway, the medical equipment, even the sound of the flatline. The experience included omnidirectional awareness and a sense of being capable of controlling the entire situation, including being able to raise the doctor's arm, though there was no desire to manipulate anyone's free will. The experience conveyed that human life exists solely for experience and expansion, with all actions - including murder, rape, and cannibalism - being acceptable as learning experiences. Robyn claimed to know everything that had ever existed or would exist in the universe, experiencing perfect infinite timelessness. Linear time was understood as an illusion, along with physical senses. The experiencer concluded that their true nature is oneness with all, identifying as God, and that everyone and everything else is also God. Robyn eventually returned to the body, though the specific mechanism of return is not detailed.
