While Sharon's initial encounter with Jesus showed His compassion for her suffering, the experience and its aftermath contain multiple elements incompatible with biblical Christianity. Her understanding that refusing to return meant reincarnation ("starting over again") directly contradicts biblical teaching of one life followed by judgment. Her current practices are profoundly unbiblical.
Sharon now teaches past life therapy based on reincarnation beliefs, practices and teaches mediumship (communicating with the dead), and instructs others in deliberate out-of-body travel for interdimensional exploration. She claims Jesus/Jeshua taught her these practices, but biblical Jesus never endorsed reincarnation, spirit communication, or occult practices - rather, scripture forbids them. Her Kumara Academy combines new age spirituality, Eastern mysticism, and occult practices under the guise of Jesus' teaching. While her traumatic childhood and encounters with divine love are moving, her interpretation through reincarnation framework and current teaching of practices explicitly forbidden in scripture (divination, necromancy, spiritism) make this incompatible with biblical faith.
Sharon Sananda was nine years old when she experienced a near-death experience during a violent physical attack by a relative in her grandparents' vineyard. Living with grandparents due to her parents' divorce, she was searching for agates when the abusive relative appeared. During the assault, he struck her so hard under her ribs that she immediately left her body through her head.
Upon leaving her body, Sharon experienced immense peace, no longer feeling pain, fear, or terror. She found herself floating in what she described as "the void" - a space of dark but not dark, nothingness and everythingness simultaneously. She felt connected to all that is, with expanded awareness she could move anywhere with thought. She experienced a symphony of tones that comprised everyone and everything that has existed, exists, or will exist. A light approached from her right, revealing itself as Jesus Christ (Jeshua). He embraced her saying "You've suffered enough, my child. You don't need to go back." Despite this offer, Sharon chose to return because she hadn't finished what she was meant to do, not wanting to "start over again" through reincarnation. The memory was veiled until unlocked during her second NDE in 2001. Decades later, when her stepfather died, Sharon began experiencing spontaneous OBEs and developed controlled out-of-body abilities. Her second NDE in 2001 (wheel ran over her head) reunited her with Jeshua and unlocked memories of her childhood experience. She now runs Kumara Academy of Transformation, teaching psychic development, mediumship, OBE travel, and past life therapy - practices she says Jeshua taught her. |
