This experience is largely incompatible with biblical teaching due to its central focus on reincarnation and past-life memories. The experiencer vividly recalled dying as Captain Fryer in a P-51 Mustang in November 1944, one month before David Moquin was born. This directly contradicts the biblical teaching in Hebrews 9:27 that humans are appointed to die once and then face judgment. The involvement of a psychic who provided information about the past life further conflicts with biblical prohibitions against consulting mediums or spiritists (Leviticus 19:31, Deuteronomy 18:10-12). While the verified historical details are remarkable, they point to a worldview of reincarnation that is fundamentally at odds with Christian doctrine of resurrection and eternal life. David Moquin was hospitalized with double pneumonia at age 48, experiencing multiple days in and out of coma. During this time, he experienced at least two events that felt like past lifetimes. The most haunting experience was burning to death in an airplane crash, repeatedly seeing himself on fire trying to reach a field past trees and a barbed-wire fence. He crashed, hit his head, and tried crawling out while engulfed in flames, unable to breathe. His daughter researched and found Captain Fryer was the only pilot who died on an odd day that November, dying while trying to land his burning P-51 Mustang. David was born December 21, 1944. His favorite plane had always been the P-51, with a model sitting on his desk. When questioned, he seemed to know names of his wing commander, squadron commander, mother and father from that life. The verified historical details of Captain Fryer's death matched his NDE visions precisely, including the burning plane and crash circumstances, providing remarkable evidence of past-life memories during his near-death state.
