This experience contains concerning elements that conflict with biblical teaching. While the out-of-body experience itself could be biblically compatible, as scripture acknowledges spirit-body distinction, the subsequent development of occult abilities is highly problematic. The Bible explicitly forbids practices like divination, spiritism, and consulting mediums (Deuteronomy 18:10-12, Leviticus 19:31). The ability to read auras and voluntarily practice astral projection (spirit detachment) are occult practices that scripture condemns.
The prophetic knowledge received about her future life events, while potentially from God if true prophecy, becomes questionable given the occult context. Biblical prophecy comes from the Holy Spirit and glorifies God, not from mystical experiences that lead to forbidden practices. The heightened spirituality mentioned appears more aligned with new age beliefs than biblical faith, especially given the psychic abilities developed. While God can certainly reveal future events (as with biblical prophets), the association with aura reading and deliberate out-of-body experiences suggests a spiritual source contrary to biblical teaching. A 10-year-old girl was ice fishing with multiple families in northern Canada when a 12-year-old boy chopped down a large birch tree that fell on her while she sat by the campfire. The impact caused a two-inch split on top of her head, five broken teeth, and she fell into the fire. Within seconds of impact, she found herself floating above the scene, observing the chaos below. She watched all the children running around screaming and saw her sister pull her from the fire by her legs. From her elevated perspective, she observed her mother begin walking toward the camp from the distant fishing spot.
In her out-of-body state, she flew down to her mother and told her "You need to run!" which caused her mother to start running. She then watched the father of the boy who cut the tree chase him with the axe, finding it comical as she knew he wouldn't hurt him. She observed her mother and sister carry her up the trail to the warming car her father had prepared. She returned to her body in the car's back seat, her head on her mother's lap and legs on her sister's lap, with everyone crying while she felt no pain and was at peace. Upon awakening, she knew three specific truths about her future: she would have one son and raise him alone, become financially secure by age 27, and learn her last life lesson in middle age. All three predictions came true. The experience gave her heightened spirituality and abilities to read auras and detach her spirit from her body, though she lost some abilities during busy adult years before experiencing a spiritual reawakening in her fifties. |
