The experiencer's limited memory of the actual NDE (only discovering through later shamanic journeying that she was in "limbo") provides minimal evidential value. More concerning are the developed practices that directly violate biblical commands. Her role as a psychopomp or "ferryman of souls" contradicts Hebrews 9:27 and Luke 16:26 which teach that death seals one's eternal destiny with no crossing between realms. Her spirit communication and work with entities violates Deuteronomy 18:10-12's prohibition against mediumship and necromancy.
The deliberate cultivation of "controlled NDEs" and soul retrieval through shamanic practices represents active engagement with the occult rather than a spontaneous near-death experience. Her training at The Four Winds Society in shamanic techniques, remote viewing, and spirit work demonstrates a path completely contrary to biblical spirituality. While God may sovereignly allow NDEs, deliberately inducing them and practicing psychopomp work enters forbidden spiritual territory. The family history of grandmother and aunt doing "work with spirits" suggests possible generational involvement in occultism. In March 1960, a 9-year-old girl was struck by a 1955 Buick while crossing the street near her home after art class. The driver, traveling at high speed down a long hill without glasses while eating, struck her on the left side. She was caught on the hood ornament by her ear, hit again, and flew 91.5 feet before landing on a storm drain.
